Hi all, i've got a problem with using PHP with applets. I've succesfully managed to retrieve data from my database and pass this to the applet. The problem is retrieving the resulting data from the applet and then passing this to the server to update the database. Has anyone ever come across this problem before, or seen any information anywhere.

I've never used applets (evil java! die!) but flash has a similar concept so can't you just POST/GET to a PHP file?

You could probably also write to a text file and use cron to run a PHP file that reads the text file every now and again although that'll kill your server.

thats all I got. Did I mention Applets are pure evil?
