I'm completely confused...

Hi, I don't know php at all but i'm trying to update a form we use. The proble is all of a sudded the code started showing in the browser and the page is all messed up.I'm using dreamweaver to edit the file. I even returned the file to it's original state copied from our site. any ideas?
The code is in a zip file becuase it was too long to copy.

Can you give any additional information about how the form is messed up? I loaded it and it looks fine to me--there are no visible errors from what I can tell.

Is this page accessible to the public? I.E. can you post a link?

Look for a missing <?PHP tag perhaps? Maybe you used <? and someone turned off the short open method (can't remember the name for <? versus <?PHP)?

EDIT: Downloaded the zip, extracted and hosted on my server.. looks nice, minus the broken images 🙂 Definitely hoping to find a link to your page... maybe if I can tell what PHP it's executing and what it's not, we can look at the code and see what the difference is. I notice a mix between <?php and <?, maybe you should keep that consistent (WITH WHAT WORKS!)?

No, the version on the internet is fine and displays fine. I even tried copying it to my computer and on my computer it looks all messed up still. Is there some reason the same file would render badly on my computer as opposed to on the server?

Is your computer acting as the PHP server, or do you upload to a remote server (i.e. do you host yourself, or pay a web hosting company). Because your page requires PHP to be running on your computer, which unless it is a server, PHP will NOT be running. Your web browser, not knowing what to do with the PHP code, will simply display it without parsing it.
