sql recordset help php

hi..Well im tryin to search a database with a form to get resalts from multipul fields sending 1 search from dropdown form.

here's what im trying to do

send '17' from dropdown form to search database fields size_1 , size_2 , size_3, size_4, size_5 for only '17'

so lets say field size_1 has '16' and field size_2 has '17' .....

so how do i serach these five fields sending one serach

im pretty new at this ..so if anyone can help..thanx!!!!

how about this:

$sql = "SELECT * FROM table WHERE field1='$size' OR field2='$size' OR field3='$size'"; etc
