function that returns days in current month

What function returns number of days in current month?

Found the function.
strftime("%d");

The function may do what you want, but it doesn't give you what you asked for in your original post, in two ways:

It returns a formatted string, not a number.
The string contains the number of the current (or timestamp)
day, not the number of days in the month.
