[Resolved] Return to referer page after cookie is set?

After setting a language cookie I want to go back to the exact page that the visitor came from (when clicking the langage selection link that is existing on every page).
Can I use something like http_referer... I have seen somethink like that but I also want to see if this forum can help me out😉

I think you want:
$_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']
http://us4.php.net/reserved.variables
http://us2.php.net/http

However, that isn't always reliable. You might want to consider sending the referring link to the help page via POST or setting a cookie to track them.

Thanks travelbuff, actually it worked like a charm in this case! I am not quite sure what you mean by not being reliable, but it worked fine so long.

I am not only new to PHP, but also to cookies, so I will leave it for now!
