Simple question - syntax help

I'm new to PHP. I'm trying to get a feedback form to work. On the processing page I am wanting the values to print out on a separate line not alongside each other. I've tried "\n" instead of the .$space. but keep getting an error. Could someone help me with the correct syntax?

Here's the relevant part of the code

if ( mail ( $my_email, "Sunrise UK website enquiry", "Here are the details from your website feedback form: \n \n " . $space . $Name . $space . $Email . $space . $comments . $space . "", "From: $Email") )

$msg_to_user = "Dear $Name \n \n Thank you for your enquiry. We will be in touch with you shortly. \n \n Sunrise Senior Living";

if ( mail( $Email, "Message from Sunrise Senior Living", $msg_to_user, "From: $Email") )
header ("Location: http://www.sunrise-care.co.uk/contact-us/thanks.html");
exit;

This is the error message:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in \nas18ent\domains\s\sunrise-care.co.uk\user\htdocs\contact-us\contactprocessing.php on line 24

Check that the content which you are emailing doesn't have any characters which might cause the error?

Thanks! I finally figured it out.
I used "\n" and this seems to work fine.
