Textarea - not wrapping

mySQL DB - a user enters their comments on the "profile" page. I have a 2000 character maximum in the text area - it is 10 rows and 59 cols. If the user just types away without hitting enter and the end of a line it just wraps itself. When I display the text they typed on the "edit profile" page, it pushes my table width all out of whack! I am brand spanking new at this php stuff . . . the code in there now to display the content from the textarea is

<?php echo nl2br($sql_they->mym_comment) ?>

What can I do?

Best way is to limit the width of the html table column itself, either as a percentage or an absolute value. Use your CSS style sheet to do this.

well, that's the first thing I tried - no cigar.

Can't have done it properly then or you would not have your table displaying the text on a single line 2000 chars wide.
