Log off & Redirect?

I have a website which a user can log on using their username & password to access their own information.

Could anybody tell me how to automatically redirect the user back to the website once logging off? At present they get a confirmation message saying they have succesfully logged of but that's it.

This is an extract from part of my "logoff.php"

Probably more a HTML thing, however with saying that you could use Output Buffering Functions to do this within PHP.

Here is the simple HTML approach using a Meta Refresh.

<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="5; URL=http://mydomain.com" />

5 is seconds e.g. you could make it 10 etc.

Don't forget to mark this resolved.

Also, proper HTML guidelines say that <meta> tags are to be placed in the HEAD of the document, i.e. between <head> and </head> (before <body>).

For it to simply work, however, it doesn't really matter where you put it in the page (as far as IE is concerned; I'd assume other browsers are smart enough to figure it out, too).
