PHP Pages loading slowly

I hav a website http://realestate.capetown-online.de which contains some php plus database connections.

The first page with the summaries loads pretty quick, but on the detail-page the whole system turns very slow.
Also an other site on the system http://www.cape-now.com has got the same problem. I don`t think, this was from beginning. We have made a Suse update. Could that be the problem ?
The database is mySql.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Question. are you preloading your images for the details page because preloading the larger images will cause the delay. It needs to load the images into memory or header. The reason I ask is that I seen the slow load but when it did load, the large images loaded full size with the page.
