Printing the value of an array

I have a function that returns this array :

But when i try to echo on of the values this way :

$Week=11;
echo $weeks[$Week];

($weeks is my array)
it does not work !!
nothing prints out.
i know this should normally work.
can someone help me out?

N.B: what i'm tring to do is get the first and last date for a week of the year.

Have a look at the [man]print_r[/man] function to see what's actually in the array.

Right, so print_r($weeks) shows what you've got above but echo $weeks[11]; shows nothing? That's very unusual. Try doing a [man]var_dump[/man] on $weeks to find out what the types of the array elements are. That may shed some more light on the situation.

array works fine with me. You must miss some little thing

yes, i found it out :
echo $weeks[intval($Week)];
because the value of $Week was taken from the url query
