date script problem

Hi,
i need to do a PHP script that gives me an alert, when i try to add an action that is for the next day(tomorrow) and the moment i try to add it(today) is past 18:00 Hrs.
The imput parameter is a date of the action in the format "yyyy-mm-dd".

Example:
Now: 13:57:00 2005-04-05 (today)(before 18:00)
Action for: 13:57:00 2005-04-06 (tomorrow)
Result: Ok

Now: 18:57:00 2005-04-05 (today)(after 18:00)
Action for: 13:57:00 2005-04-06 (tomorrow)
Result: Alert !!

Now: 18:57:00 2005-04-05 (today)(after 18:00)
Action for: 13:57:00 2005-04-07 (after tomorrow)
Result: OK (beacuse its after tomorrow, and not tomorrow)
