sessions is my killer

The situation is simple. User loads page and it`s browser is given a valid session SID.

Now, let`s imagine that cookies are off in this browser.

Thus every time F5 is pressed the new SID browser is given.

As for a statistic system such browser each time counted as the new one. I think this is wrong.

So what could be done about this?

well, how often do you suppose a typical user will sit there and press F5 over and over again? How often do you think a typical user will turn off cookies? I think as far as statistics are concerned it's virtually neglegible. And what a good thing considering http is stateless!
