I am doing more custom CMS type PHP development lately and I have a chance to take many weeks to convert my methods. I like the idea of becoming more object orientated and I am looking for some direction. I came across Smarty at smarty.php.net and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions/complaints/other programs?? ... presentation content with Dreamweaver MX?
Also, I have been developing with PHP 4.* and am position to redo much of my current library. After searching around regarding switching to PHP 5, I am even more confused. Any comments or links to highlight advantages would be great.
