. I seem to have Apache 2.0 working. . I seem to have PHP 4 working . http://127.0.0.1/ brings up index.html . http://127.0.0.1/index.php brings up index.php . the function <?php phpinfo(); ?> even works . I have AddType application/x-httpd-php .php in the httpd.conf file
But..
http://127.0.0.1/ will not bring up index.php by default.
Any idea what I am missing??
Go to your Apache httpd.conf file. There is a DirectoryIndex tag there. Put index.php in the list.
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.html.var
<grin>
I don't know why I didn't think of that. I did it earlier to enable index.htm which strangely isn't there by default.
Anyways... THANKS! It worked.
Now it's time to tackle MySql and I'll have mylap top all set up for development.
