[Resolved] Images on a site

Hello,

I am having this problem with images being displayed. On my website, i have a member list which gets all the information from the Database of the Forums. Some of the users avatar images are saved onto the site, while others aren't. The location of the images are saved into the data base like this:

images saved onto the site: gallery/avatars/members/001.gif (actually image location - http://www.crazy-d.org/forum/images/gallery/avatars/members/001.gif)
off-site images: http://www.ewclan.net/images/002.gif
(links used as examples)

<img src=$avatar_location>

The images saved onto the will not work, location - http://www.crazy-d.org/gallery/avatars/members/001.gif, while the off-site images would work, location - http://www.ewclan.net/images/002.gif.

Is it possible to add a check in to see if the image is saved onto the site or not? So i can make it <img src=\"forum/images/$avatar_location\"> for images saved to the site, and just leave if the same as it is for off-site images.?

P.S - Hope you can understand what i wrote, not good at explaining.
