Help with coding

Hi

I am creating an internal product database created in php/mysql I have created the mysql database and enterted in information, I have created a form that allows me to add data.

What I am needing help with is I am wanting to create a page that has a url like this http://www.example.com/CategoryList.php?CategoryName=Printers

The CategoryList.php page would be the product menu that has CPU, Motherboard, RAM, Hard Drive etc.

Then it shows up with a list of the CPUs in the database, then if I click on the Product Name I would like a hyperlink that sends it to a url like this
http://www.example.com/DetailedProduct.php?Code=IP5000

So what I am looking for is something like this

http://www.techunity.com.au/CategoryList.php?CategoryName=CPU
http://www.techunity.com.au/CategoryList.php

http://www.techunity.com.au/DetailedProduct.php?Code=CPP4-560J
http://www.techunity.com.au/DetailedProduct.php

I have also designed the page for DetailedProduct.php

If anyone could give me a hand I would really appricate it even if it was a link to a step-by-step tutorial that could help me out.

Hi,

I am not getting your point.

Can you explain that...

You have products added to your database and now you want your page to display the Link for each products...

If i am right in understanding that you can simply extract the unique key of your product and just concatenate the same with the Basic link like this

echo "http://www.example.com/myscript.php?product=".$product_unique_name_from_database";

Than you can simple using the $_GET['product'] get teh value of the product you need to show...
