Total Sum of Values

Hi,

I want to display a total sum of values from a HTML table. E.g

Apples| Pears| Oranges|

2 | 6 | 3

8 | 4 | 12

Total Number of apples = 10

I am not pulling any values from a database so the Sum() function wouldnt help me i dont think??!

This may be very trivial but im all out of ideas!

Are you using a static html file to get your values from then? If you are, please post an example.
