Google would go right to the end: it's got no reason to think that "test.php" is not a directory name that has a dot in it. As far as Google is concerned (and this goes for all URLs) everything thing from the / after the host (and port) up to the ? (if there is one) is just "path"; it has no more meaning to anything except the named host than that.

And, FWIW, it's generally stated that Google has no problems with reading query strings these days. How true that is, or whether Google's share is sufficient to stand alone as SOE ...
... but it's probable that if Google can do it, most other major SE's can do it (or are desperately trying to implement it) as well...
