List Last Modified Folder

Please could someone point me in the right direction. I am wanting to display the last modified folder in a dir.

Thanks for the reply, not sure if that will work for what I am wanting to do. Basically I have a website with loads of pics. The PHP script generate thumbnails from all the pics in a dir and also creates a menu from all the folders in that dir. What I want to do is on my home page, I want to have a link to the last folder that I uplad so that visitors can go to the laster pics.
