Hello All I am very new to php. What i am looking for is a way that i can password protect a few pages. Would would i need to do. Would i have to do cookie? Well here how i want it setup:

There will be a few user the user will be given user name and password of my chioce.

So what i am try to find out what will i need to have setup For this to Work.

Hi Vbabiy,

You're obviously new to the forum, so you should read the guidelines.

Particularly, don't double-post the same question to two different forum sections ... it's an absolute no-no!!

Also, the forum doesn't work very well as a tutor. If you are so new to PHP that you can't imagine how to code a login page, then nothing (except a full script) is going to help you.

Try here for a reasonable starting point.

Hey Sorry about that.. Well i can do some coding but i am not that great. I was wonder how people would setup a password protected site. That about all.
