I want to work in more of an OO PHP/MYSQL way... should I use PEAR? I am a bit scared. sniff What are your favorite rapid php/mysql development tools out there?
PEAR is good. Easy to install, easy to use. Give it a shot. If ya' don't like it, you can always revert back. 🙂

using PEAR and OO Programming are two different things. You can use PEAR for everything and have no understanding of OOP. However, if you learn OO you will know how to create something like PEAR yourself.
