Hey...
I wrote an application that works like Plaxo. It provides a bulk email invitation service so that people can add their contact information to your address book. I built it because I bought a new Pilot and I didn't want to enter 100 addresses -- I just emailed 100 people and THEY put in their own. Then they can do the same with their friends, if they want.
I do, actually, have a question. This wasn't just about promoting my open-source app. Though I would love people to try it out and let me know what they think! Link at bottom of message.
So my question is this...
I send email as follows:

$headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$headers .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n";
$headers .= "From: contact manager <donotrespond@yahoo.com>\r\n";
$message = "whatever";
mail("whomever@somewhere.com,subject,$message,$headers);

The problem I having with this is that text email clients are showing all the html tags while html-enabled email clients are not necesarily printing line breaks without break (br) or paragraph (p) tags.
I know there is prob. no solution - no way to make everyone happy... but I just thought I would throw it out there if anyone has some magical cure for the impossible.
Thanks
-Matt
