Header Error Message

Hello:

I'm getting this error message while running a script:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr301/home/t/e/tennisga/public_html/layout.php:6) in /usr301/home/t/e/tennisga/public_html/register.php on line 57

I'm not sure why. Layout.php is a shell for the appearance of the website.

I attached the register.php file to this thread. I will send a follow-up thread which will contain the layout.php code.

This is a registration form. After the user clicks Register, they should receive a screen confirming the registration and then redirect them to a member area which is member_area.php.

Can someone help me out?

no need for two threads on the same problem. anyway, without even looking at your code.

you cannot output anything to the browser before calling the header() function.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked at my code and I'm not sure how to fix this.

My register.php will produce three different forms depending on what is going on. And, I want the layout of the website to be applied to everything.

What would be the best way to modify my code so that after a successful registration, the user is then sent to the member area?
