Game Database

I am wanting to code a game database but not sure how to do it. I know the structure that I want. I have tried with my limited php knowledge (thank goodness php is similar to perl 🙂 ) but failed. I want it to be searchable by keyword, game genre, and platform. I can do the html code for the look but getting the php code to return the data for what I want is where I am stumbling. Im not sure how to set it up to do the searches, and how to do the admin page for all of it. Thanks for any help.

your question is really vague. furthermore, this is a PHP forum. go back and try something in PHP and then come and post again with the code you tried.

ask a question about how php interacts with databases.

I know the basics on how to write php code. I do not know how to start a project like this. I figured since you was a php forum, you would know some idea how to start a project, but I guess I was mistaken. Do not worry because I will not return back to this site again. Admin, please delete my account here.
