PHP recompile to include mssql

Hello,

I need to recompile my PHP installation to include mssql functions... Can I just run the config utility with just --with-mssql? Or do I need the entire config command PLUS that one?

The reason I ask is, my config command is about a page long, and having to type it in SSL is a pain....!

Upload it via FTP, or use 'wget http://somewhere.com/config.txt' to xfer it to your box :p

And I would think that you need to retype the entire './configure' command, and re-'make' PHP. Don't take my word for it though; I'm no *nix guru.

EDIT: Also, hope you know you have to have the FreeTDS library installed. More info on this at the manual.

Ok, I've got freetds installed, and I'm trying to run the config thing (great idea on the text file btw), but I'm running into an error. It's telling me that Bzip2 isn't in the default location and that I should reinstall it.... I searched for Bzip2 and found it in /usr/bin.. Isn't that where it should go?

$ whereis bzip2
bzip2: /usr/bin/bzip2 /usr/man/man1/bzip2.1

Strange. Try adding --with-bz2=/usr/bin/ to your configuration string?

No luck... Same error.

Can you paste the exact error you're getting?
