[Resolved] using the date function in Php

I am looking to use the date function in php so that my footer copyright will change every january 1 does anyone know how i might be able to do this with a script. This is what my current footer looks like

Did you look at the manual entry for [man]date/man?

Try to write it yourself. The date parameters are on that page (scroll just a wee bit.. you'll want either Y or y).
