We have a client that would like us to develop an interface for his site where he can click a button and pass all the customer info over to the USPS site. He has been using PayPal for the last year, but is now going to switch to Authorize.net and would still like this nice feature from PayPal.
I contacted USPS directly, and I was told:
"To develop an application similar to this, you would use our Delivery Confirmation API and a third party vendor, such as endicia.com, for the postage. These together will get you a label with postage. As to how the values are passed, that is up to you to develop. We do not assist with development. This would be developed in a way to fit your needs."
Does anyone know of where I could find some code or hints on how to pull this off ourselves? I spent a couple hours doing some searches on the Internet but couldn't find anything. I did find SEVERAL more references to the endicia.com site though. I'd like to find another, FREE, option, if possible.
Thanks,
Shaun
