help on php

hi i just downloaded the php5.0.4 installer, I using Win XP Pro, IIS 5, I would like to know where is the root for php as default. coz i cant find the root. and how can i view php file. Do i need to put the file at the root just like then asp file which need to be in wwwroot.

anyone can help me here.. i really have no idea on PHP. i newbie. cheer... thanx

It will be pretty much the same as ASP - all files exist in the web servers docroot or a virtual docroot.

http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.windows.iis.php as ever the manual explains what to do.
