Ok, here is a question for ya! I have an application running on my site that is secured simply by sessions. Now, I have coded a simple chat program for the site. I am wanting to enhance the chat board by listing all the users who are currently on the application/chat room (either or). What I need to know is: How can I get access to all the registered sessions that are currently running on the server? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
you cant. you'll need to build this yourself. as a user logs on, add there user name and the time they logged in, into a db.
then, on everypage, have a little script updates there 'last hit' time, and removes entries older than say 20 mins.
