where would you make an index in this db to speed things up?

SELECT subj_title.fid, subject, poster, total_segs, date, segs, size FROM subj_title LEFT JOIN subj_data USING(fid) WHERE subj_title.fid IN('.implode($sfids, ",").') GROUP BY subj_title.fid ORDER BY fid DESC');

fid on both tables.

i did both of them and it still seems about the same speed.

2 seperate indexes on fid right?

copy&paste the SELECT into phpmyadmin

(execute the query within phpmyadmin)

click "Explain SQL"
