Any one can compare python with php?

Why is there 3+ topics on PHP vs. the world?
Personally I think PHP would lose because unlike other programming languages, it has balls and I have a foot.

My opinion (for what its worth, which ain't much):
Don't try to compare programming languages with one another because at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is what you prefer. They all pretty much do the same thing anyway.

Definitely.
And isn't the end result what really matters (the whole purpose for you to code), rather than what language got you there? Most people don't give a crap what language applications are written in--they just want them to do their job, and do it well.
Seems like a waste of time to be constantly searching for which language is the "best". While you're waxing intellectual, others are producing.
