noob needing a little help

Hi everyone, I'm totally noob about php and I'm afraid I'll never have the time to learn it in deep. Ant that's why I need your help.

I'm trying to setup a little photo site. Nothing complicated even because my programming abilities are just a little HTML.

Anyway what I am trying to do is something like this: http://www.brashares.com/gallery.php

I don't think It's anything complicated. I just wanted to know if there are pieces of code I coudl use or simply newbie tutorial to help me out with that.
