Phplib Template Question

Hi,

got a question regarding phplib template, say I have a index.php which contains template codes...all the variables and files etc...and many different body.ihtml , body2.ihtml etc files, which contains purely html...

As I understand it, the only php codes I can write in is inside index.php? if my website is really big, wont that index.php be flooded with php code and end up being too messy? or can I write it in other.php files? if I can, how????

Just store PHP code in other files, and either [man]include/man or [man]require/man them, or link to them.
