php in cgi-bin

This script is not on my server, the writer allows poeple to copy the source for free, except Im not able to get the script to work on my server.

Can somebody tell me why I cant get this code to work.
The writer says simply put into cgi-bin.

code:
http://xa.bi/files/google.txt

Ive emailed the writer, asking about permissions. Im still waiting for reply.

for starters, what you posted a link to is called a PERL script, not a PHP script 😉

for starters, he says the link is not ot his site, the author lets you copy the source, so what you clicked on was the authors functioning link, ergo, I would hope it works

Thanks for waking me up there. My guess is that he needs to change the #! line to point to where his perl interpreter is then...
