Ho to index PHP files on google....

I read on article that Yahoo and Google are not able to index PHP files....so what I can do about it?

I would use a pseudo *.html file that has a meta refresh to the real php page. THat way Google & Yahoo! see the .html page and index it, and when the user visits, it will redirect them.

But I haven't really had problems with google and PHP pages. Of course I haven't really looked into it too much, but most of my pages that I wanted on google were there and are php pages.

for what it's worth, I've never found any problems with Google indexing PHP pages on sites which I've had any dealings with.

There may be a problem with completely dynamic content, such as /showjobdetails.php?id=1234

Where you have potentially thousands of different jobs, identified by unique id's.

If the details for an individual job are unlikely to change very frequently, you may find it better for search engines, and faster for your visitors, to publish these files periodically (every day, or every 6 hours or whatever) as simple html.

On the other hand, if the details DO change frequently, then do you even want google to store them?

But what about the meta tags... I enter them just like in HTML

My PHP pages have meta tags. I'm not aware of any problem with them?
