Does Google cache MySQL/PHP

I haven't found much about how/if google is able to cache content that uses PHP to access everything in MySQL/Postgresql. We have a client that would like to be better indexed by google, so should I turn to an XML solution or is there an effective way to get most of the content cached and searchable in their servers.
Getting links to his site is his deal, but turning up the dynamic content in google searches is what we would ideally like. Is this possible?
