attaching file in email

to all guru

how can i attached a document in email without uploading a file?

here is the logic

a user sign up a form and all data was saved in table and of course the information also stored in a .pdf file and it is located in this folder

../pdf/{userid}/pdffile.pdf

how can i attached this .pdf to a php email function??

I'm almost positive I've seen questions like this before on the board, try searching for "email file attachment" or "MIME multipart email", etc.

It has to do with multipart MIME boundaries; something I'm not too savvy with.
