Query help

[sidsel]

I have a table looking like this:

OrderID | ItemNr

1040 | aaaaa
1040 | bbbbb
1040 | ccccc
1041 | bbbbb
1042 | aaaaa
1042 | ddddd

I want to find out what other Items that are ordered in conjunction with i.e. ItemNr 'aaaaa'

In the table above and with Itemnr 'aaaaa' the result would be:

1040, bbbbb
1040, ccccc
1042, ddddd

How would the query look like?

  t1.orderid, t1.itemnr
FROM
  tablename t1
  INNER JOIN tablename t2 ON 
    t1.orderid = t2.orderid
    AND t1.itemnr != t2.itemnr
WHERE
  t2.itemnr = 'aaaaa'

Your query include two tables. I only have one table.

It doesn't matter if it is a "dirty" query as long as it works...

My query includes one table twice

you have to replace tablename with the name of your table
