I have read the following on this site:

I have managed to alter it for use on my own site, but have a problem which I would like some advice on.
The article says that the parameters ($attr) are available in the startElement function. The params i have are within the <story> tag (my equiv of story tag), it just looks like <story ID=343>. How would I get these to be displayed alongside the title & link of individual stories?
