externl php file for form?

ive been offered a subdomain on my mates site with a php-nuke theme but no storage but i was wondering if it was possible for teh form to send the the info submitted to the databse on my other server?

on one form im intending to uppload files aswell is this possible getting it to send the data to the php file on anouther server?

you can connect directly to a remote mysql db by using its ip or hostname.

as for your upload. im pretty sure you'll need the upload script on the same server the file is to be uploaded to.

as for forms, you can point them wherever you like. i could point a form on my site to a script on yours.

ok then would it be possible to have the upload script on tthe new server but have it upload all the data to the other server?

ahh right yeah got that now so can i get the upload form to connect to the php file on the other server ok?

actually. take a look at the [man]ftp/man functions. might help you out with your upload.

and YES forms can point whereever you like.
