Hello all, first post here. If this is the wrong forum, my apologies in advance.
I am somewhat new to php and am looking for a template or a starting point to build upon for the following design.
I have a number of ms word documents that I save as XML. These are dragged into ftp folders that are labeled as catagories (education & training, knowledge management, etc).
The php script will first identify the various folders (catagories) and make a list of these as links on the left. When a catagory is clicked, the script then looks at all the word XML documents and diplays the Title and Subject from each one of the documents. The title will link to the word doc.
This is a basic CMS system for ms office docs and pdfs. I have been taking a look at some open source CMS but they seem to have far too many features.
Is there a template or some code snippets that someone can point me to?
