ok i got if u read the php + html thread below u would see my problem.

Altho the solution provided works brilliantly im not so sure if it will work for what i want to do next...

I have created a drop down list and i want to be able to select a different option and the image changes. can i do this using the method im using already? if so how? in leymans terms please, i need to work all this out and my php is rubbish at best

If you want an image to change right when you select a different option, then you'll need to use javascript.

If you just need to know how drop-downs work in php, here:

are you getting your images from a database or a folder?
