Is it better for the speed to put small lists upto about 30 irrevocably entries (such as time zones) in includes as arrays (hard coded) or put them in a database table anyway?
Notice: There is no need to change the values in this exampe.
including a file will always be faster since you would not incur the extra overhead of connecting to a db server. you should try benchmarking it yourself using [man]microtime[/man].

(I always get dilemma's when I have more than 10 of those tables... Since this will eat up memory every time a page loads).
