I recently got my friend done php system .

I got all php files etc..

he said i need to reconfigure mysql so will connect to my files

i just wondering where and how to setup my database mysql ?

i really totally blank ....anyone can help ?

i know i need tosetup the connect_ file to database name, host url etc..

but anything i need to do ? like setup the form etc...i found table file on it.

i really want to learn about php. this project is good start i guess.

have you been to http://mysql.org and read the manual?

Do you have a database created yet? And you don't really need to reconfigure MySQL to connect to your files. You need to rewrite your php file's connect script to connect to your MySQL. Most web hosts will give you an example connect script for PHP, so you probably need to get with your host to find out what to do.

I believed its getting clear now , I already edit the connect_db.php file :

i put the database name, the url name , username .password

but..

they now asking...no database available : this is the message error

Table 'db125369619.admin' doesn't exist

do i need to make the database first ?

because the webhosting actually provide me way to make database...but i just dont know....how to setup what kind of database did i need....

Well, if it's telling you no database exists, then you need to consult the guy who wrote the script for you for how to setup the database tables and structure. Then you can consult with your webhost on how to actually create the DB using their control panel software.

i did , my programmer said i need to do something with the table i saw a file table.txt , i dont know what should i do with that

Presumably, the text file provided contains the information you need to setup your tables, either the instructions, or the SQL needed to just import into your phpMyAdmin (or whatever MySQL DB Management tool you're using.) Without seeing it though, I couldn't even begin to speculate on how to help you out.
