Links to files in a subfolder

Hi

How would you go about having a set of links to files in a subfolder?

Say the website had on index.php a title then a php block where it listed all the pdf files in a directory on the server. Say the subfolder was "documents" and I wanted to list all the .pdf files only, with no "." or "..".

You'd probably use some of the [man]filesystem[/man] functions.
