[Resolved] Need to strip line breaks

I need to submit data from a textfield, which has HTML tags in it. I need it to be formatted all in one line, i.e. strip line breaks. is there a predefined PHP function for it?

OK, I might've been mistaken thinking of line breaks. I assume I need to be concern with whitespaces...

There's something sneaks in that prevents some javascript I use to output the string, however when I go and manually format by putting on the same line, or removing white saces everything is OkeyDokey...
