Could someone please put my mind at rest.
I have looked at the stats on my site and it has me somewhat concerned.
I have a form that is submitted into a mysql db. When you fill out the form it takes you to a thank you page. Now this thank you page is only accessible after filling out the form.
On my stats, the thank you page has 150 hits but I only have 54 mysql records?? I have tested and tested and see no problem and was wondering if it maybe a problem when more than 1 person fills out the form simultaneously. (ie: say 3 people on different pcs press the submit button together)
What happens? Does it just queue up?
Do I need php code to make them queue?
I know it doesn't sound likely that 3 people would fill out the form at the same time with only 150 hits but this form was advertised in the local paper one evening and most hits were on that same day.
I hope someone can help put me out of my misery and tell me that queuing is automatic and that it is probably something else or simply that stats can't be trusted.
