cant connect to mysql from php

i have winxp sp2 with Apache/2.0.54 (Win32) PHP/4.3.11
when i try to connect i recive :

Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Access denied for user 'peleg'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\breakfast\include\connection.php on line 4

when i triedto connect with mysqltest with the same user it fails and tellms acces denied is too!
but when i connect with a gui there is nor -problem!!!
any idea why?

I guess it's a common problem with mysql userid and password. Please check with your connection.php file. I think you're giving wrong password or userid. We can certainly says what's wrong after seeing connection.php file. Please post it.
