break without the <br>

Here is the issue, ive got a news article script, and when i type it up I want it to look the same way as when I typed it in the box, so if I did a new line like

I want it to output like that, WIHOUT having to add the <br> for a single line break. Is this a mysql table structure issue, or a script issue?
