obtaining html data using php

hey - this is a newbie question but heres what i want to do...

i have a flash file and i want to import all the html data into this flash file - the page i want to import the html data from is http://marconi.arch.usyd.edu.au/helpdesk/printers.cgi?printer=gacey.

the reason i need to use php to do this is because the html page has a missing tag somewhere and i cannot import the code straight into flash, so i think i have to use php.

so basically i want to load the php file from flash which obtains the html data for me.

so my question is, how would i write a php script to get the html data from the above web page so that i can display the html data in a flash file.

im really sorry, but as i said i am totally new to php..

do u think you could give me an example of how i would use the fopen command?

i use the following code in my php file; but the page was blank when i load it.

you can just use

$html = file_get_contents("http://marconi.arch.usyd.edu.au/helpdesk/printers.cgi?printer=gacey");

echo $html;

but unfortunatley i am back to square one because the original html file has a tag missing somewhere,

and when i load the html file from flash it does not load all the html - much of it is missing....

i was given the attached code to overcome this problem, but for some reason it replaces all the tags with <o> - and i need the tags present when i impor the html into flash..

if anyone can see the attached code and find out which part i have to change to prevent the <o>'s replacing all the html tags it would be much appreciated.... ???
